What are the requirements for a divorce?

One – You must have been married for 1 year or longer.

Two – One of the parties to the divorce must be living in England or Wales.

Three – Either individually or jointly you must confirm the marriage has irretrievably broken down.

Four – The marriage certificate or a certified copy.

Five – A court fee of £593. If you are on a low income or benefits, you may receive an exemption.
