How can I stop my ex hassling me on social media?

There are several steps you can take:

Ignore all calls, texts, posts, and messages – Do not respond to your ex’s attempts to contact you.

Block your ex on all social media platforms and email accounts.

Change your passwords if you suspect that your ex may have access to your social media accounts or email.

Avoid posting where you are on social media. This will prevent your ex from knowing your location.

Ask your friends not to tag you in posts while you are out.

Document any instances of harassment. Keep a record of any messages or posts from your ex that are harassing or abusive.

Ask your friends and family not to interact with your ex online or post about you when you are out.

Report your ex to the social media site, as many platforms have guidelines against people threatening, bullying, or harassing members.
