Do I need to mention my new partner in the D81 form?

When completing a D81 form as part of the financial aspect of divorce, you should disclose information about any new relationships. In particular you must disclose any plans to cohabit, remarry or form a civil partnership.

If you are cohabiting with a new partner, this information should be disclosed.

Even if you are not currently living with a new partner, but are considering cohabitation, remarriage or entering into a civil partnership within 6 months of signing the form – you should indicate this.

If you have no intention to remarry, enter into a new civil partnership or cohabit – you should also indicate this.

It is crucial to be honest and accurate when filling out the D81 form to avoid any future issues.
