Is there a hearing for the Conditional Order?

A hearing does take place for the pronouncement of a Conditional Order in divorce or dissolution proceedings, however it is a procedural formality.

At the hearing a Judge will read a list of names of all the people entitled to a divorce or dissolution. The hearing is usually held in an empty courtroom as it is not necessary for either party to attend the hearing.

After the pronouncement, the court sends a copy of the Conditional Order to both parties.
