What is full and frank disclosure?
Full and frank disclosure is the duty of parties involved in legal proceedings to provide complete, accurate and honest information about their financial circumstances, even if that information may be unfavourable to them.
The purpose is to ensure transparency and honesty so both parties (and a court if involved), can make informed decisions based on all the information.
Providing full and frank disclosure is an ongoing duty even when circumstances change. Disclosure must always be accurate, up-to-date, and ongoing throughout any proceedings.
